Plotline[]
He initially wanted to take Qin Wentian as his disciple. Qin Wentian and the Qin Clan Manor was in danger at this time and needed a shelter but Murin not only didn't agree to his Star River Association protecting them. He even gave them to the Ye Clan.
After Qin Wentian showed his talent to the whole country, he started to be despised by his superior because of him Qin Wentian stand against them. He hated Qin Wentian for that and even collaborated with Chu Tianjiao to send assassins to kill him. Later, we learned he got expelled from Star River Association and imprisoned by Chu Wuwei after he took the throne.[1]
